It was a just past sunset on a cold and rainy Saturday evening when 70-year-old Sharon DeLamore decided to run out to a store near her Benicia home to pick up some groceries. She never made it back.

DeLamore was struck by a vehicle as she walked along East Fifth Street on Jan. 5, 2019. The driver didn’t stop, and DeLamore succumbed to her injuries the following day.
