Jan Lee has been named the next general manager of the Dublin-San Ramon Services District, which provides water services in Dublin, San Ramon and Pleasanton.
Lee, the assistant general manager since 2020, was chosen by the district’s board of directors to succeed Dan McIntyre, who is retiring after seven years in the post, the district said Friday.
Lee, who has been with the district for three and a half years, spent 13 years with East Bay Municipal Utility District and four years with the City of Hayward.
Lee will be the first woman to serve as general manager when she takes over Dec. 23.
The district provides potable and recycled water to Dublin and the Dougherty Valley area of San Ramon, wastewater collection and treatment to Dublin and south San Ramon, and wastewater treatment to Pleasanton.
