The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors has approved a contract to build a new morgue facility that is expected to cost approximately $25 million.
The design-build contract for the new medical examiner and morgue facility was awarded Tuesday to the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, county officials said in a statement.
