SAN MATEO COUNTY has been chosen to receive federal funds to provide a home for 20 local families who will benefit from housing, one of the greatest needs today.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) selected the county and its partners for a competitive grant totaling $3.5 million over three years. The largest portion of the funds, $2.47 million, will provide 20 new housing vouchers.
