The Livermore, Lafayette, Martinez and Calistoga city councils will cancel voting for some political offices in November and appoint candidates to seats that are uncontested.
The cities voted to call off a combined 10 races – seven for city council seats and three mayoral competitions in Livermore, Calistoga and Martinez.
