California Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed multiple housing bills aimed at tackling the state’s lack of affordable housing and making it easier for tenants to rent a home in the first place.
Newsom signed Wednesday a whopping 56 bills into law which he said “incentivize and reduce barriers to housing and support the development of more affordable homes.”
