A free on-demand shuttle will transport residents, employees and visitors traveling within Santa Cruz’s Seabright neighborhood during the Murray Street Bridge Retrofit Project.
The Seabright Shuttle will carry riders to the nearest METRO fixed route stop Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District said Friday.
Riders can book trips by calling METRO ParaCruz at (831) 425‑4664 or by using the Mobility by Ecolane app.
Upon booking, riders will be given a 30‑minute pickup window, with typical wait times from 5 to 45 minutes. An accessible ParaCruz vehicle will pick up riders curbside.
Drop-offs will be at Broadway and Seabright for travel to downtown Santa Cruz, or Soquel Avenue and Frederick for travel to Watsonville.
Pickups for drop-offs in the zone will be at Broadway and Cayuga from downtown Santa Cruz, or Soquel Avenue and San Juan Avenue from Watsonville.
