The Alameda County Women’s Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for its 2026 inductees and applications for its Mary V. King/Wilma Chan Youth Scholarship Program, county officials announced.

Community members are invited to nominate women in categories including business, education, community service, health, justice, science and technology, sports and the arts, among others.

The deadline for inductee nominations and scholarship applications has been extended to Jan. 12.

Through the youth scholarship program, the Hall of Fame will award up to six $5,000 scholarships to high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership and community involvement, according to county officials.

Up to 12 inductees and six scholarship recipients will be honored at the Women’s Hall of Fame Luncheon and Awards Ceremony on March 28, at The Club at Castlewood in Pleasanton.

Proceeds from the event support programs for women and families across Alameda County.
