Residents of Marin County are encouraged to apply for two at-large seats on the Marin County Planning Commission before the 5 p.m. deadline on Monday, March 31.
Appointed by the Marin County Board of Supervisors, the Planning Commission reviews and makes recommendations on countywide and community plans, amendments, master plans, and rezonings. It has final authority on subdivisions, design reviews, and use permits, pending appeals to the Board of Supervisors. The commission also hears appeals from the Deputy Zoning Administrator and planning staff.
Those interested can learn more by calling the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at (415) 473-7331, or apply online or by mail.
