The Mountain View City Council this week elected the city’s new mayor and vice mayor, according to local officials.
Pat Showalter was selected as mayor and Lisa Matichak as vice mayor during the Council’s first regular meeting for 2024 on Tuesday.
Showalter recently served as vice mayor in 2023. She was elected to the Council in 2014, serving until 2018, and was reelected in 2020. Matichak, meanwhile, was elected to the Council in 2016 and again in 2020.
