Helping the bottom line: San Mateo libraries give diaper kits to families in financial need

With data showing that low-income families spend approximately 14 percent of their post-tax income on diapers, San Mateo County Libraries hope to ease the financial burden by offering free diaper kit giveaways. (Image via Freepik)

San Mateo County Libraries have launched a pilot program offering more than 1,800 free diaper kits to support families in need.

Each kit contains 80 diapers and 200 wipes.
