California State Parks is commemorating World Ocean Week with its free distance-learning program, Parks Online Resources for Teachers and Students (PORTS).

As part of the week-long celebration, State Parks divers ventured underwater Wednesday in Whalers Cove at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, south of Monterey, to speak with the winners of the World Ocean Day logo contest for K-12 schools.
