A week-long bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles raised $11.7 million for San Francisco and Los Angeles HIV/AIDS organizations, organizers of the event announced this week.
On Sunday morning, more than 2,000 participants left the Cow Palace to begin the 7-day, 545-mile AIDS/LifeCycle journey to Los Angeles to support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
