Three baby house finches that were discovered orphaned in a nest built inside an equestrian helmet in Redwood City are being cared for at the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA in Burlingame until they are strong enough to make it in the wild.
A concerned resident called the humane society after it appeared the nestlings had been abandoned.
