The San Francisco Zoo mourned the loss this week of Cobby, a 63-year-old chimpanzee with a distinguished grey beard and a longtime visitor favorite.
The oldest male chimpanzee in an accredited North American zoo, Cobby died Saturday, San Francisco Zoo & Gardens officials said.
