Concord will vote on sales tax extension, hike to pay for city services

Concord voters will be presented in November with a ballot measure on whether to approve extending and increasing a sales tax city leaders expect will raise about $27 million a year for myriad municipal needs.

The council last week voted unanimously to support the measure, now known simply as the “Concord City Services Measure” with no letter assigned.
