As the number of confirmed coronavirus cases continues to grow, EdSource is tracking how California K-12 schools are responding. There are 133 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in California as of March 9, and two deaths caused by the virus.
The California Department of Public Health released new guidance for schools about how to respond to the coronavirus outbreak on March 7. State and federal health officials are cautioning that older individuals and those with underlying health conditions are at greater risk than younger individuals.
