The Port of Oakland is adding its voice to the growing choirs of criticism aimed at President Donald Trump’s ongoing trade war with China.
On June 21 , Port of Oakland Executive Director Chris Lytle announced that he sent a letter week to U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer warning that Trump’s tariffs and China’s counter-tariffs pose a major long-term threat to the economy.
