Evictions

Rent relief may be available through local programs.

Applications are no longer open for the statewide COVID-19 Rent Relief Program. State law extended eviction protections until June 30, 2022, for qualifying applications received by March 31. Tenants who do not qualify for statewide relief have been required to pay rent and utility bills since April 1. Visit housing.ca.gov for more info.

DMV

DMV offices are open and providing service to customers with appointments and others as time and space allow during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most DMV tasks can be taken care of without an office visit.
